"Ooooh! This one! This is the one!" Socee nodded with a huge grin on her face. She was holding a large plastic black disk with a little circular label in the center. Her grin then faded just as quickly as it appeared.

"No not this one. What was I even thinking?" She discarded it into a pile of other large black plastic circles. Chell had been watching Socee do this for quite some time now. It was a strange cycle of joy and disappointment that repeated itself over and over with each new black disk. Socee was so disenchanted with her own progress that she didn't even bother to put them back in their little files or "lapels" as she called them. Chell was taking her time looking through the discarded lapels and putting the black disks back in their appropriate casing when Socee was busy looking through more of them to throw away.

Chell liked looking at the lapels. Many of them had very impressive artwork on them. Or more often they had a picture of the artist who was on the record. Their gazes trapped in an eternal staring contest with whatever was directly in front of them.

"Ugh, this shouldn't be this hard!" Socee yelled. She put down the last record and moved back to the stack of cell phones on the other side of the EQ board.

"Why are you stressing so much about this?" Chell asked.

"Because your boyfriend mandated my grand revival by sometime today with out any idea how much preparing I had to do." she stressed.

"Preparing? Everything else is up and running. You're just picking out the first song."

"Yes and that is so very important, intern!" she moaned. "I have to pick a song that reintroduces me. A song that'll remind people who I am, since it's apparent everyone forgot." she looked at the impressive collection of records she'd gone through.

"Maybe if I go ahead and finish your map first then I'll have an idea of what song to play." she sighed picking up a phone and disassembling it.

"Would you mind if I looked through more of these?" Chell requested.

"Are you gonna arrange them in Alphabetical order again?" Socee retorted.  She sighed again. "You can do whatever you want with them. I'm sick of looking at them right now to be honest." she continued her work on the phone while Chell looked at more albums. She found one in particular that peaked her interest. There was a picture of a woman in a red dress and a big hat smiling wide and bright.

"This woman kind of looks like you." Chell pointed out. Socee looked up from her work to see what album she was talking  about.

"Oh, you think I look like Chaka Khan? How flattering!" Socee squealed.  Chell sat down beside her on the ground.

"So there is something I've been meaning to ask you." Chell started.

"Shoot, intern."

"Well if you and Wheatley are siblings why are you-"

"Oh!" Socee interrupted. "That old chestnut. Well to put it nicely, our mother was a very adventurous Parisian lady who didn't let the boundaries of monogamy stop her from leading a very full life."

"And that means…"

"Mum had a thing for guys from the South of France. That population had tendency to be a little more colorful than the rest of  Europe. Mum and dad were separated. They got back together. Mum found out she was pregnant and assumed it was dad's and nine months later found out she was horribly wrong." she stated frankly.

"Oh." Chell understood.

"Yeah Wheatley told the look on Monty's face when he left that delivery room was so shocked and grim that everyone thought I was stillborn. The lesson to be learned from this is, don't marry a girl from Paris." She chuckled.

"But even despite our obvious differences we were just the same as any siblings. We argued and bickered and then were best friends again within the next hour. We actually do have one thing in common as far as looks are concerned. We both have our mother's eyes." She smiled. She looked at her reflection in the screen of the phone she took apart. Her smile disappeared from her face when the scarlet light glared back in her face.

"Well, had her eyes." She took the record gently from Chell's hands. "He bought the whole album for me on my birthday. It must've taken him ages to find a vinyl of this." she smiled warmly.

"This is the one." she spoke gently.  She got up and walked to the other side of the EQ board once more with one of the phones still in hand.

"Right then! I think I'm finally ready for broadcast and you are ready to properly explore Aperture." she reached the phone she was holding to Chell.

"Just tap the little button on the bottom whenever you want to see the map. The orange dot is your current location. Rooms and corridors where you visit with this map will turn orange also." she explained.

"Thank you." Chell smiled.

"Eh, no big deal.  Save it for when we escape this place. But since we're on the topic of gratitude, I think you need to stop by Wheatley's 'lair' and tell him how much you appreciate everything he's been doing. It would really brighten his day and help our cause." she suggested.

"I don't think I can stand to see him like that. It's just so hard to go back and face him when he acts this way. Menacing and dangerous, it's sort of terrifying." She admitted.

"Wheatley? Terrifying? Darling are you mad? Right now he's the same goof ball of a man child he ever was. And if we don't want that to change we better move quickly. So just remember all the terribly embarrassing and ridiculous things he did while you two were first trying to escape and you'll be fine." Socee assured.

Chell wasn't sure it was that easy. The core who had helped her escape and the core who was keeping her here almost seemed like two completely different people.

"I'll  give it a shot." Chell nodded. She stepped into the mirror and was back in the hallway.

"It's so good to have her back." Socee admitted to herself. "Seems like she has gained a bit of weight though." Chell poked her head back through the door way to Socee's surprise.

"I was right outside the door. I could still hear you." Chell stated flatly. She glared at Socee who had a blank expression on her face. They were like that for some time. Glazes just as fixed as the pictures of people on the lapels.

"I'm not going to take it back." Socee finally told.

Wheatley sat thinking about what just happened. He'd never felt such anger before. He was trying to calm himself down.  But it was something about that word "Moron." It enraged him to no end.

"Just keep cool mate. Who made her the authority on monsters? She's the real monster. Playing with people's minds and riling them up. That's all she's good for the wretch." he spat.

"I just need to keep focusing on what I'm doing. No more silly distractions." he remarked. A beep went off in his mind.

"Oh now what?" he grumbled.

Chell stood outside the doors to  Wheatley's lair. No doubt she had already set off some quiet alarm. Now she was just waiting for something to acknowledge her presence. She was nervous. She hadn't directly interacted with Wheatley since he'd trapped her here and she certainly hadn't said a word to him.

"Who's there?" Wheatley's voice growled. A monitor by the door lit up. Wheatley's face appeared on it squinting down at Chell.

"Oh, it's you!" he realized . "I didn't think you'd ever come here on your own. Um, hold on a moment let me let you in."  The monitor went back to black and the metal door slid open with a hiss. Chell slowly walked into the large room. Wheatley stood before her trying to look formal and authoritative. It didn't suit him at all. He walked towards her taking small steps but the vibrations still made it hard to walk for Chell. Being this close to him was like looking up at a large building. She quickly got a sense of vertigo.

Wheatley didn't want to chance taking another step so he stopped. He crouched down to be on somewhat eye level.

"It's very good to see you, love." Wheatley beamed. "How have you been lately? We haven't talked in forever it seems. Well no we were just talking earlier today. But you know what I mean. We haven't talked talked. Are you enjoying your new room? The guy who started Aperture use to stay in there. He practically lived in this lab you know. I heard he lost his mind though. Then he died of some horrible disease or something." Wheatley rambled on again. He did seem quite the same as ever with his endless talking and those big blue eyes.

"I uh wanted to say thank you…" Chell started quietly. Wheatley looked down at her intently.

"Did you say something?" He crouched down lower in order to hear her better.

"Thanks for…" she mumbled trailing off. She couldn't make the words come out.

"Hold on let me try something." Wheatley gently brought one giant hand behind Chell and scooped her up as softly as he could. This was much different than the other time he'd lifted her up. This was done with much more care and tenderness though Chell was no less panicked than the first time. He raised her until her eyes met his.

"Now repeat what you were saying?" Wheatley's eyes bathed her in that soft blue light as he spoke. Chell managed to swallow the lump of fear that had manifested in her throat.

"Thank you for trying to take care of me." she spoke clearly like a bell. The blue light glowed brighter as Wheatley's eyes opened wider. Chell waited for what seemed like forever for Wheatley to reply to what she said.

"You're very welcome."  he finally managed to stutter out. "Is there anything else you want?"

"No, no." she insisted. "I'm pretty tired so I'm just going to head back to my room."

"Oh yes of course! I wouldn't want to keep you from sleeping. You have another day of testing ahead of you. We want you in peak condition for that! Not mention if humans like you don't go to sleep they die. Learned that the hard way." he spoke that last part much softer than everything else.

"Uh, I need you to put me down so I can leave." Chell brought up.

"Oh right of course." Wheatley realized. He lowered his hand back on to the ground. Chell stepped off his hand and turned to him.

"I'll see you in the morning then." She had a tiny smile on her face.

"Right I'll see you in the a.m. Feel free to drop by again sometime. I'm always here. Always." He spoke a bit sadly. He didn't want her to leave even if she was just going to her room. He'd been lonely since taking charge of this place. Even lonelier than before he found her sleeping that chamber.

He gave her a tiny wave and watched her leave the room. In his mind he traced her all the way back to her quarters and even after she entered and shut the door behind her he continued to watch her even more longingly. She seemed so perfect and wonderful and…

"Now would you look at that?" A voice interrupted his thoughts. "If I didn't know any better I'd say you were in love that girl."

After that extremely awkward moment with Chell, Socee began to do the final preparations for her revival broadcast. She took most of the records she'd pulled earlier and put them back in their lapels. She then walked over to the wall to restock them. Those circular designs on the wall weren't just cleaver decoration. With her pointer finger she traced the outline of the bigger outer circle going clockwise. Then she traced the outline of the much smaller inner circle going counter clockwise. Finally in the third smallest circle in the center she simply pressed it and the area of the wall began to shift and move outward. The as the large circular cabinet became accessible she began to place the albums back in their home until she needed more to play. The others that she didn't put up were for play later on. She stacked them on top of the EQ table.  She looked at the panel with all the switches and buttons and put her hand on either side of them. Pushing gently the panel separated into halves and moved a apart to show the steel wheels under them. Socee checked the arms on both steels. Their needles were still intact to her joy. This would have been tedious work to any other but to her these were joyous labors.

She looked to the mirror and smiled and winked at herself.

"We're back old girl." She smirked. Socee looked down at her uniform. It was plain and now she'd gotten a lot of stains in it.

"I hate these uniforms. Why am I even still wearing this?" she pondered. "Oh right I was in a state of absolute depression and hopelessness for several decades. But now that phase of my immortal life is over it's time to get back to being my usual fabulous self." she began to rummage through her mind.

"Now where's that file? Oh, there you are just as stunning as ever. open." she commanded. Socee watched as the Aperture uniform blurred and started fade as something else took its place. A crimson came over her shoulders and arms replacing the white track suit. The bottoms were also replaced with black dress pants that had a red belt around the waist. Finally the flat hospital like shoes were replaced with scarlet six inch stilettos. Under the blazer was a low cut black dress shirt.

"Now this is more like it!" she smirked. "Such style and flare.  I am ready for my re debut." She put the record onto the steel and lifted up the arm to sit the needle down.

"I should probably alert 'the bossman' to my success before I just start blaring music." she thought. Socee ducked back under the table and once again opened the metal hatch. She could hear faint voices coming from bellow this time. She took softer steps as not to agitate the sensitive metal into squeaking. As she crept further downward she could hear more voices.

"…Enjoying your room?" she heard Wheatley say. She'd finally made it to the final level of stairs but she couldn't see anything pass the mess of wires.

"The guy who started Aperture use to stay in there. He practically lived in this lab you know. I heard he lost his mind though. Then he died of some horrible disease or something." Wheatley was babbling on about some dead guy. Socee moved closer to the ripped edge of the metal. She was just able to see Wheatley and Chell bellow her not enough to make out what was happening. She also saw that the catwalk continued passed the large missing portion.

"If I could get down there I could figure out what's going on." she thought to herself. Jumping would be a bad idea because even if the walk could support the weight when she landed the noise would be so loud it would defeat the purpose of eavesdropping. She looked around for anything that could help her but all she saw where ever she looked was wires. Thick long and sometimes extremely sturdy wires that ran in every direction including the one she wanted to go. She made a snap decision. Socee looked over the rail of the catwalk and saw that a particularly thick cord was right next to it.

"Here goes nothing." She shrugged. She hoisted herself up and over the rail and attempted to get a steady foot hold on the cord. Her heels dug into to the plastic giving her enough traction to stand.

"Hold on let me try something." She heard Wheatley's voice again.

"Try what?" she thought. She needed to get to that other catwalk. She moved quickly along the wire balancing as best she could , holding to other hanging wires for support. As moved forward she could see Wheatley was physically holding Chell in his hands.

"Whoa. Now that's something you don't see every day." She remarked. She was finally down to the next level of the cat walk. She gently moved her leg to step over the railing as she watched the interaction.

"Thank you." Chell's voice rang out through the whole room. Socee was so engrossed in the interaction unfolding before her that she miss stepped and lost her foot hold on the cord. Before she could plummet to certain destruction  she grabbed the rail with both hands. She now dangled above them watching as Wheatley  tried to do what she assumed was flirty behavior . She was so embarrassed for him that she nearly let go of that rail just to spare her pain of watching him stumble through this meeting. Finally it was over and Chell left. Wheatley just stared into space after her like a puppy missing its master. Socee pulled herself up and over the railing. She allowed herself to hit the metal face first simply because her arms were exhausted from holding her up so long.

Socee stayed like that for a while. Trying to process all of what just happened. When she felt like she'd properly composed herself, she got up and dusted herself off. She looked back down at Wheatley who hadn't moved at all from where he was sitting and he still had that pathetic look on his face.

"So terrifying." She scoffed. She continued on the catwalk until she was two more levels down. She didn't bother sneaking any more but Wheatley was so engrossed in his thoughts he still didn't notice the fact she was there until she'd made herself known with that snide little remark.

Wheatley's head snapped up in the direction of the voice. He saw Socee with that toothy grin on her face leaning on the rail. She was dressed in some new outfit that obviously wasn't something you'd wear in a respectable laboratory like Aperture.

"That getup you're wearing is not appropriate for the work place." Wheatley frowned.

"Oh you're just mad cause I could always wear suits better than you. I could wear anything better than you really. Except for heels. You always had a really nice pair of stilts for a guy." she chided. "But back to the matter at hand. You like that girl."

"I do not!" Wheatley fumed. He sprung to his feet and marched over to the catwalk where she was standing.

"That would be completely unethical and immoral! Sick even!" He made big sweeping hand motions as he spoke all of which didn't impress or fool Socee. She simply eyed her nails as he talked.

"Just who are trying to convince here mate? Me or you? Because my opinion on the subject is pretty well formed." She nodded. Wheatley stopped ranting for a moment and thought about what she just said. Maybe it was time to stop lying to himself.

"Even if I did like her, which I don't by the way, I'm a bloody machine to her! There's no way she'd ever go for someone like me." he sighed.

"Not with that attitude she won't! Girls don't really go for the pathetic cry baby type. Well, not the girl you're after.  Trust me."

"And why exactly should I trust you huh? I don't really know you. All I remember is that you're a huge drama queen. " Wheatley reasoned.

"Of course you would only remember the bad things. But trust and believe when I say you and I were very close! You were my very best mate! The fact that you don't remember who I am actually hurts me. It physically hurts me Wheatley. Doesn't that make you feel awful?" she exaggerated laying one hand on her chest as if to cover a wound. Wheatley simply rolled his eyes at the action.

"Maybe you should get me one of those singing cards to make me feel better." She spoke sarcastically. "You know how much I just adore those things."

"Oh, right." Wheatley scoffed. "The last time I got you one of those you…." He put his hand to his head. He was remembering something. Socee realized what was happening.

"The last time you got me the singing cards I did what Wheatley? Come on. I know you remember. It has to be there it's got to be." She urged. Wheatley thought hard. His processers were over heating.

"You to the little singing chip out of the card…" he started. "And snuck up on me while I was in sleep mode and installed it into my hardware and rigged it to my clock so that it went off every hour on the hour."

"Yes! Yes! What else do you remember?"

"It took the scientists ages to find that chip and get it out! I remember that you always use to pull stunts like that with me!" he growled. "All the time that's all you ever did. Make my life a little more difficult one inconvenient at a time." He moved in closer to her getting angry.

"Calm down, Wheats. It was all in good fun." She insisted. Now she saw that terrifying side Chell was talking about.

"You were such a pain. You always took a joke to far or said something totally offensive. You swore like a sailor and drunk like a fish. Not mention all your scandalous outfits." He reached down and grabbed her by the scruff of her neck and brought her up to his face. Socee was being suffused in a raging blue light. She put her hands up to shield her eyes form the light and to shield herself from Wheatley's wrath.

"But do you know what the worst part was? You never got in trouble for any of it! I did! I was always blamed for your messes, Socee! It's not like I had control over what you did. You're my sister, not my bloody child!" Wheatley finished his rant. He was breathing hard. Socee slowly put her hands down in realization of what he just called her. Wheatley's  expression changed from angry to revelation.

"You remember?" Socee spoke breathlessly.

"You're… you're my sister." He repeated.  He began to embrace Socee much to her surprise and misfortune.

"You're Socee. You're my little sister. How did I ever forget about you? Can you ever forgive me?"

"Yes! Just do one thing for me." she requested.

"What is it? Anything?"

"Please stop crushing me!" she strained.

"Oh!" He quickly undid his arms from around her tiny form. Socee was pressed so tightly against him that even when the pressure was relieved she simply clung unwillingly to his chest. Wheatley gradually peeled her off his shirt.

"Sorry about that mate." he blushed. He sat her in his palm. "You okay?"

"If I were human my spine would be in two pieces. But I guess I'm fine. Ah where we before you tried to murder me? Ah yes your girlfriend!" she exclaimed. She got up and began to pace back in forth Wheatley's palm.

"She's not my girlfriend. She is my coworker." He stressed.

"Oh don't be coy, mate! You obviously have a thing for her."  she had her back turned to him picking at her finger nails.

"What!?  I don't have 'a thing' for her. She is a good friend and I like her around." he fumed.

"Oh so you like her?" she reasoned whipping back around to face him. He was blushing blue and not making eye contact. Socee could actually feel his palm getting warmer as his processers smoldered at the notion.

"No! Yes! In a platonic sense!" he stressed.

"Oh yes I'm sure when stared at her with that passion of burning white suns it was purely platonic in nature." she chided nudging one of his fingers with her elbow.

"Nope I am ending  this conversation here cause even if I did like her like you are implying you would go and find some way to ruin it for me."

"Why must you be so damn stubborn about this!? You get it from father you know! Mum always use to say you two were like angry rams butting heads unwilling to change." She ranted.

"What are talking about?" Wheatley squinted down at her.

"Just as stubborn as father if not worse! At least when dad liked a girl he was completely willing to admit it. Even if the girl wasn't his wife. Hell if she was co-worker that was plus in his eyes. Double points if she was a stripper or prostitute."

"We don't have parents. We were built here remember."  he looked at her strangely.

"Oh right… you don't remember being…" she mumbled.

"What are saying? Speak up mate." he encouraged. He had a tiny concerned smile on his face. It was a smile that she knew was synonymous with the words "I don't understand you."

"Oh it's nothing! Just a slip of the tongue is all. When you spend a lot of time by yourself things get confused is all." she lied.

"That's right isn't it? You were up that all by yourself trapped like a rat. It's amazing you didn't lose your mind up there." he marveled.

"Well it's not something you can do twice…." she murmured.

"That mumbling is a terrible habit. You should make an effort to speak more clearly mate. now I don't want you to be cooped up in there any longer. It's not good for your health. Is there any way you can operate the radio without you actually being there? You know remotely."

"Yes, and I'm the remote." she rolled her eyes.

"That's brilliant! From now on Socee you are going to be my new secretary." he announced proudly.

"W-what?" she sputtered. "Your secretary?"

"See, being to bloody huge I can't exactly access a lot of places around Aperture." he explained.

"I can understand that being a problem but you're omnipotent. There's nothing in this lab you can't access with your mind." she reasoned.

"True but there are times when I need to have a physical presence and that'll be you. You'll be all over Aperture making sure everyone is up and doing everything I ordered. You'll be my right hand man." he continued. "Also you'll be escorting the human, her name is Chell by the way, all over Aperture.  She likes to explore the place and I can't always keep an eye out for where she is when I'm trying to run everything else."

"So basically you want me to baby sit your girlfriend along with running errands." she summarized.

"She's not my girlfriend."

"Not yet. But I'll see if I can't fix that." she thought. "I whole heartedly accept your proposition. Just promise not to give me any 'special' promotions. If that's all I'd love to get back to running my radio station if you don't mind." she remarked.

"One more thing! You need to go introduce yourself to Chell! Well re-introduce yourself. I think you guys were friends right? I think that happened. She won't remember you though. Human memories are very unreliable."

"Tell me about it." she rolled her eyes.

"Also while you're walking to her room you can check to see if your radio is playing through the lab." He began to lower her down onto the floor.

"All these chores and I just started the job. You're such a slave driver Wheats."  She hopped onto the ground.

"And you're a lazy little brat." Wheatley playfully remarked.

"Guilty as charged." She admitted. She began to head toward the door exiting out.

"Wait, you don't even  know where she is." Wheatley exclaimed.

"Like I said before darling I'm clever. I'm sure I can manage to find the room of an executive in a place like this." She smirked as she exited. The gleaming metal doors in front of her glided open and she stepped across the threshold. "You just keep your ears peeled for my welcome back broadcast." She swaggered into the hallway and let the sliding doors close behind her.

"All these years and she still the vainest person I know. But what happened to me?" he pondered. Wheatley began to pace back in forth.

"Her entire existence was blacked out of my memories. If I hadn't gone looking for that station I would have remained completely oblivious to her. I need to look into that. Also I better keep an eye on her while she's on her way in case she gets lost." He mused.

Socee once again accessed the interface in her mind.

"Control Panel." She commanded as she began to walk slowly. "Radio Station. On." In the little station room the EQ table began to light up again on its own seemingly. A faint click could be heard all through Aperture if it was quiet enough.

"Begin Broadcast in 5,4,3,2…."

Ding! Dong! Ding! Dong!

The chimes sounded through the whole labrotory with gusto. Little animals that had made their nests in the speakers were surprised to find that their home was no longer hospitable.

Ding! Dong! Ding! Dong!

Chell laying in her bed perked up at the chimes. She'd never heard anything like it in Aperture before. Yet it was familiar. Like a sound from a pleasant dream.

"That must be the radio station." She realized. Chell listened intently for Socee's voice to come piping through the speakers.

Ding! Dong! Ding! Dong!

Even in the deepest depths of the facility where a certain core trapped under glass pushed herself and her cage deeper into the lab as to get away from a certain idiot. She recognized the chimes and the very sound of filled her with a chilling rage.

"Oh so I guess she found some way to get that awful broadcast back up and running." GLaDOS stopped pushing her glass prison for a moment to listen.

"I'll have to be sure to give her a congratulatory shove in the incinerator when I get out of here.  And I'll make sure the idiot gets front row seat to watch her as she melts into a puddle of metal and plastic." She stated formally.

In another part of the lab, one a little more well off than others, where gleaming white computers  ran endless code on their monitors, another was core just tumbling his way through Aperture. He glanced at the computers briefly before rolling his eyes at them.  He continued walking with his hands in his pockets and a small frown on his face.

"Could this place be any more boring?" he sighed. He continued down his path. "Is an explosion too much to ask for? Not a big one. Hell I'd go for a firecracker at this point."  He continued on.

"And all the other spheres are no fun at all. They're all just a bunch of scaredy cores. None of them want to adventure. They just want to huddle up and suck on their thumbs and hide. There was only one core who was ever man enough to hang out with old Rick." he declared. As walked through the endless rows of offices he spotted an old break room up ahead.

"Could be something worth while in there." He shrugged. He made his way to the room in no particular hurry.  He doubted that there would be anything extraordinary hiding out in the tiny shack of the room but maybe something a little different than what he'd been seeing.

As he approached the room he saw that the lights were dimed. No doubt they were run down from someone leaving them on too long. He stepped in and brightened his optics so he could get a better look around. The walls reflected the emerald light and painted the room green. In the center of the room was a little plastic table with all its chairs facing an old TV that was mounted in the top corner of the room. There was a little counter just behind the table with a white microwave sitting on it but there was something wrong with the microwave. Rick stepped in for a closer look.

It's white surface was blackened with soot and it's door was missing. The inside of it was completely unrecognizable. It was like it was gutted.

"It exploded." Rick concluded.   "I think I remember doing this. But that was forever ago. I doubt the thing even works anymore so I can't make it do it again." Right below the microwave under the counter was a tiny refrigerator. Rick opened it and inspected its contents. Out of all the old Tupperware containers now brimming with different colored mold, one shining glass bottle caught his eye. He grabbed it by its neck and removed it from its place in fridge and let the door shut behind him.

The content of the bottle was a crystal clear liquid. The bottle itself was finely crafted glass twisted into a spiral shape before smoothing out into a normal cylinder.

"Well speak of the devil." Rick marveled at the container. He left the break room cradling his new discovery.
"I thought this place felt familiar. It's really hard to tell when you've already been somewhere in here though. Especially if it's been a couple of decades." He held the bottle up in the light.

"I was just thinking about you actually darling. It's no fun in this dump without you. Don't get wrong though, I've never really considered this place a time be had but you made even this snorefest exciting.  You were really something else. The first thing I did when I woke up was start searching for you but even for my adventuring expertise I couldn't find you anywhere. Even worse when I asked the other cores about you they looked at me like I was insane. No one had any idea who you were. Even old pencil neck was clueless about you and I thought you two were close. Guess not." He shrugged. He saw that just on the rim of the bottle's mouth was a bit of glossy red lipstick. A shade he knew all too well.

"Ah gorgeous if I had any idea where in the world you might be I'd run so fast into your arms we'd both catch on fire from the speed and the passion. What I wouldn't give to see that glint in your eyes when you're about to cause someone physical harm or that grin on your face when you're about to damage personal property or that cute little slur you get in your voice when your completely inebriated." He sighed.

Ding! Dong! Ding! Dong!

The chimes reverberated through the offices.  Rick put his hand over his ears.

"Ugh what an annoying noise." He moaned. "Who could even be still alive to make those stupid announcements?"

"Hello Aperture labs!" Socee exclaimed. "Your angel is back to brighten you dull lives!" her voice seemed to change the whole mood of the facility. Everything was a little brighter.

"Welcome to the glorious rebirth of Aperture radio!"
So here we are ladies and gents! The This particular chapter should be three parts and this particular part is pretty G/t heavy. But it's fine. I put everything I had into making sure It's a good one.
